WELCOME
   This Is My Story

I was born in 1946 and lived outside of Mitchell, South Dakota by the James River I did a lot of hunting, fishing and trapping.

There was a rock dam on the river where at one time stood a flour mill. I would spear carp and sell them to a nearby mink farm where they where used as mink food.

I went to Riverside grade school, a one-roomed country school house ….then I went to Mitchell Senior High.

In 1970 I got out of the Navy..... and at that time met my soon to be wife Deborah she was a school teacher. One year later we were married. For the next 2 years Debbie was teaching high school so that I could go to culinary arts school to become a chef.

I graduated school in two years and moved to Rapid City, South Dakota. I started working at a steak house. I have also worked in hotel kitchens.

At the age of 62 I retired form the kitchen….. I now just like being home and working in my home office.
I like the time I now have to spend doing my favorite sport that is taking my archery equipment and shooting some arrows at 3D targets.

I love to listen to country western and classic rock music when I’m working in my home office and driving in my pick up truck.
I graduated Culinary Arts school in to years  and started to working at a steak house. I have also worked hotels I like hotels because I can work banquets, sautéing, broiler cooking and baking.

I worked Executive Chef, Working Chef, Sous Chef, Banquet Chef and Line Cook. I have worked in a lot of Restaurants and the Arrowhead Country Club..
Now at the age of 63 I retired
